  • I have been putting off writing this review because I have absolutely no idea how to even BEGIN to express how much I love Central Coffee. I think that most shops just do one or two things really well. Central doesn't do ANYTHING without doing it really well. At one point I was in here every day, sometimes multiple times a day. Now that I'm a mom I don't really have the space in my schedule (or the cooperative infant) to allow for that, but Central is still my go-to whenever I want (need) coffee. The signature drink, the Central Shorty, is usually the highlight of my day whenever I get it. I pair it with the Vegan Zucchini bread and heaven shines down for a few moments. Sometimes there's even an angel chorus chirping out some bits of Handel's "Messiah". Anyway. I love Central. I really do think it's the best coffeeshop Charlotte has to offer. You'd be doing yourself a huge favor to stop in and make it a part of your day.
