  • This review is for waxing only. I'm sorry if this sounds stereotypical, but I abhor walking into Asian salons since 1) they never speak English around you and this makes me extremely uncomfortable, and gives me the feeling that I'm being hustled 2) I cannot understand them when they speak English 3) The service is almost always terrible Still, this is the closest salon to my place and waxing emergencies sometimes arise. On such an emergency occasion, I got my eyebrows and upper lip waxed, and the woman did a terrible job. That's the short and long of it. Luckily, I've discovered that Dufferin Mall nearby has threading services available, so I'll opt for that next time.
