| - The good, and the most important thing, was that when I left this studio my hair looked fabulous. I can't remember the last time I left a salon more satisfied with my hair. I saw Bonnie, and she understood exactly what I meant... keep it long enough to ponytail, layer it, lighten it up. She worked with my natural waves and didn't chop too much off. No funky angles, just a truly perfect hair cut.
I got a half price cut with a 60 for 30 Groupon. The regular prices are a bit steep for me, at least until I go back to work full time... but I think as far as center city salon prices it is average - it compares with Virtue, New Creations, etc. There was no Groupon snark when I booked or when I showed up, which is a plus.
Complaint points: my perfect hair didn't really last a full day because she put a little too much product in it and it fell down. Easily fixed - next time I say easy on the product. The other one would be that it's a little tight in there, which doesn't really matter that much since you spend most of your visit sitting in a chair, and the stylists seem to be fine within their workspaces. But I would not recommend bringing in munchkins who don't sit still well.
To summarize, somewhat upscale prices but that comes with upscale quality and experience as well. Recommended overall.
