  • Used a Groupon here for brakes and oil change. I walked in and was greeted by someone who made me think..."this is not going to go well." I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover...but I wasn't wrong. I just needed a basic brake job, but knew I would be receiving a phone call with a laundry list of other things needed. Sure enough about an hour later, he calls me, fast talking and telling me I needed about $300 worth of brake work. When I asked him to slow down and tell me what needed to be done, it never added up. I questioned him further and just got more fast talk. I eventually told him I was just going to pick my car up and have someone else look at it. Then he back pedaled and told me he would just "slap" brake pads on for me. I told him to please do so...with the intent to have them looked at afterward from a more trusted mechanic. I didn't really even trust them to do that...but I had paid for it already. Anyway...I won't be back. I just got a bad feeling about these guys...and I am pretty sure, my brakes are fine without the added $300 of work he initially suggested.
