  • Did a staycation a while back and picked the Buttes as our location. There were many positives and just a couple negatives to note. Positives: -Good central location (right next door to Angels Spring Training Ballpark) -Hotel built into mountain -Nice pool with slide and a few spas throughout -Free buffet breakfast for platinum members -Friendly staff Negatives: -Very outdated rooms (popcorn ceilings) -Slight old hotel odor Overall, I do and did enjoy the Buttes, but it is time for hotel and room updates. It has five star potential if updates are done.
