This show is offered free as part of a marketing machine for Marshall Sylver's real profit generator.
Step one: give you a totally free show that keeps you entertained.
Step two: pepper it with only the slightest suggestion of what his real profit center is all about - selling you products that will help you become rich.
Step three: After proving how effective and amazing hypnosis is, you get tickets to come to the next free show.
Step four: at the second free show you deliver a high pressure sales pitch to buy into your wealth generating system. If you're going to be a millionaire you can spare a couple grand now silly.
Step five: Marshall hires another porn star maid for his mansion to show off to audience in show 1 (oh and you top forbes this year or something... that part of the plan is all up to you)
I can't talk about him in the latter steps but we did see the first show. My fiance ended up being one of the 10 that stayed on stage so that added to my enjoyment. I've seen hypnosis shows before and the bits were not as funny as many i've seen (more pg i guess...). I liked the extra bits of vegas flare that got added to the basic hypnosis show though (dancers anyone? costumes? yes please) so over all it might be better than some of the others I just mentioned.
If you have time it's something I'd probably catch but it's not worth dumping something awesome or going too far out the way. Most of the "free" tickets in vegas end up costing you a $5, $10, $15+ in box office fees or you're seated in the bell tower with Quasimodo and are barely there. These tickets really are free - just get through step 1 -3.... there are no stings other than the persuasion to return for the sales pitch. We ended up being seated right up front - it's general admission.
