  • Just want to start by saying when I went to pick up my take out order and the friendly lady behind the bar told me it was under $20, I thought she had the wrong order. I mean, we ordered 3 full meals and a bisque. I had just gotten 3 chicken tenders and a few chicken wings from a drive thru place that cost me $13 so... Anyway, we ordered the corned beef and cabbage (it was St Patrick's Day) and it was really good. The corned beef was melt in your mouth tender and there was a ton of it. It was also full of potatoes, cabbage and green beans. It was just like my mom used to make...very tasty. We also got a fish sandwich and mac n cheese. The fish was crispy and flaky but the bun was the star. It was fresh and airy and delicious. The mac n cheese was creamy, not dry. The crab cakes were were pretty good...better than what you'd expect from a diner. They had a lot of filling but they weren't dry at all and had a lot of flavor (they came with mac n cheese too!) I really loved the bisque. It has that slight sherry flavor a good bisque should have. All in all, one of the best $20 meals I've ever had.
