I am very torn on my feelings for these courts. On one side it is a greet location, numerous courts, and the maintenance of the courts is decent for a public facility (description below).
On the other hand though I have had more than one occasion where I have been removed due to a league, USTA, coaching, or ladder system reserving the courts. This is more likely to happen on the weekend but has happened on the weekdays for me as well.
I would advise to check either check the board near the restrooms to confirm when courts are taken and/or go online to the park website to see when the courts are reserved. Sometimes it is not always kept up to date so just keep that in mind.
If you are looking for a location that is free with lots of courts in the South Charlotte area I would say check out Jeff Adams or these courts. They both have the largest number of courts, with lighting, and are in decent shape. Just be mindful you might be bumped or all the courts could be taken.
