  • I had some time to waste while waiting for an appointment but it was too early to have dinner. I just needed something light to bridge the gap. I remember walking past Caffe di Portici a few weeks ago so I thought I'd see what they have. Oh, I thought this was a coffee shop. It's much more than that! It's an Italian restaurant that happens to serve coffee. They serve all kinds of Italian food here, including salad, pasta, sandwiches, pizza, desserts, and much more. All I want is a coffee, this time. My friendly server had actually greeted me before I stepped inside and was very helpful in walking me through their menu. With his help, I chose the Espresso Crema Shakerato - A layer of cold milk cream over iced coffee frothed in a shaker & flavour shot. It sounded really good on a hot day. It was good! Rich and creamy. I'll have to come back to try some of their food.
