  • I have used young champions / active stars now for about three semesters and I can say that their program is definitely a waste of time and money. Instructors are rude. And now they are allowing adults to take classes next to children. I feel that is very inappropriate. I would prefer if adults had their own class. After questioning if adults are background checked the response was no. That they don't discriminate. I do not feel that active stars is a safe program for my children and I have removed them from the classes. They have promised to give me a refund as I was paid in full. But they said it takes up to 2 months to process so we shall see how that goes. In conclusion it's definitely worth paying more somewhere else to get a much better higher-quality service. My daughter still has not received the belt she tested for and their class is about to test again. That is completely unacceptable in a karate class. The children strive hard to receive the next rank built and when it's not given to them they're very heartbroken and disappointed.  This company should be ashamed how little they care about the children.
