  • What a truly great find. One Sunday my g/f did a search on her phone for Sunday happy hours, first on the google list was this place from 3-6 and 8-9 on Sundays they have a great sushi happy hour. Don't let your first impressions fool you, it's not in a great neighborhood (and by that I mean its not 'bad', just not great). They seem to be the only surviving place in the strip mall just about Northern on I17. I usually won't go to a new sushi place on a Sunday because of the freshness of the fish etc... but it turned out to be a great place and fantastic food and the price was a SUPERB DEAL! We went in, place only had about 12 people in it at that time. Staff were very friendly, polite, quick to bring menus, drinks etc. We ordered Edamame, calamari, and 6 rolls. We are still not sure why we ordered 6, but the prices were so low we assumed they would be smaller portions like you get at other happy hours. WRONG We had so much food we ended up setting up a buffet on the next table! Apart from the Tropicana roll, which had some weird apricot gel on it... everything was seriously good! Vegas roll, California, spicy tuna, caterpillar, spicy salmon & Tropicana+ 2 ice teas and 2 appetizers, under $40. Great find. We were going to go again but we missed the happy hour deadline.
