  • Doctors Christopher Wie and Maura Scanlan with the Division of Pain Medicine are highly competent and skilled at identifying the cause and solution for a chronic back issue that I had been experiencing for many years with no help from my current health care provider. They are very interested in my well being and were able to properly identify a course of action which I have been satisfied with. I commonly refer to them as my "dream team". The surgical team that has supported me during my visits are no exception, as well as the recover room team. Mike Davis, a volunteer has been with me on several visits and I have received nothing but stellar interactions since my initial interaction with Mayo Clinic. Right down to the parking lot attendants and valet personnel, nothing but exceptional service. I am a person not a number with Mayo. I live out of state and realize that I could get the treatments done locally, however I know I make the right choice for me when it comes to my health and Mayo is right for me. Mayo Clinic sets the bar for what health care should be, not the exception. They are an example of others to immolate.
