I'm baffled by all the low scores here. What do people think? Hospitals are like health resorts or something? All hospitals are here for one thing: to make money off of people being sick. They're not hear to make us better. Getting better doesn't bring in new patients.
I came in the ER yesterday. Everyone was super nice and pleasant. I'm doubtful of the numerous "rude" staff comments. Not a single person was anything less than friendly as fuck. The dude who did my IV did it quick and painlessly. It was perhaps the easiest IV I have ever received.
They did one thing that I felt was probably a little unnecessary. All hospitals/doctors do that. That's part of their schtick. Several of the nurses and staffers were good looking. Not that it really matters but something better than watching the walls helps pass the time.
They were going through a disaster drill. So there was actually alot of extra staff there. Several people were done up in makeup to look like disaster victims. To me, they looked like zombies. I was wondering if it was a sick joke at first and didn't want to stare too hard, in case they really were hurt. But after the nurse explained to me, I took it all in stride.
Only negative was the one imaging chick walked me to the Catscan room and she had really long legs and wasn't hurt, like I was. So she's holding my IV fluids and almost jogging down the hall while I have this pick in my arm. I had to tell her to slow down.
