It is so very easy to surrender to all the delights that the big hotel resorts of Las Vegas have to offer, but Art of Flavors is one of those places that more than reward a visitor for daring to venture out of his or her comfortable air-conditioned hotel and out into the Las Vegas summer.
Art of Flavors is a local shop that makes one of the best gelati I have ever tried. The woman who helped us was clearly passionate about her concoctions and was very patient with us as we tried almost every single thing in their menu. The favorites for us were the pistachio, creme brulee, and dulce de leche. Every bite felt like a luxury, and we left the small place utterly happy.
From what I gather, they have daily creative flavors (or perhaps weekly?). On our visit, it was fried chicken with waffle and maple syrup. Weird as it sounds, and although it will not be one of my go-to flavors anytime soon, they were able to make it work.
If you are ever in Las Vegas and in want of a little adventure, go check them out!
