I posted to the Yelp app for the Scottsdale location too please read it before making the important decision of where you are going to spend your health care dollars. My experience with both Mayo locations has not been good... One other incident I forgot to mention happened at the Phoenix location. I was referred ( and that's all they ever do is refer you too someone else ) to a neurologist. She was very nice and seemed to be very through. Towards the end of my exam she told me she had to look something up and would be right back. I said ok but please do not take long cause I'm on a verge of a flare up of my disease, 10 minutes go by and my guts are killing me, 20 mins go by and I look out in the hall way and go " Hello, Hello is any one out here that can help me, no one responds. I wait another 15 minutes for a total of 35 minutes and I can hold back my disease any longer, it gets ugly fast especially when I'm away from my Meds. So , I high tail it to the nearest bath room by the time I get back to the exam room there still isn't anyone to help me so I get in my car and go home and I still haven't heard anything about it from Mayo.
I have found the Doctors at Mayo lacking of compassion when they deal with their patients.... My advice to anyone considering treatment at Mayo is explore other options and research other boards like this with people who have had real time experience ...
