| - Nice pretty place. Love the fire and the water out front. Probably one of the more romantic casino sites. Went to play craps, but sensed the tables would bust within an hour. (I was right, each of three busted.) Would have jumped in but cigarette smokers dominated the corners of every table, like they were on fire. Not the house fault, people in Vegas never got the nationwide memo on smoking being bad for your health. Still, would be nice if they had a smoke free table. Walked over to play Blackjack. Too many funky free bet or single deck BJ tables open. Just want straight BJ, but they were crowded. Standing too long, went to sports bar simply because by then I'm thirsty and needed to get off feet for a few minutes. Three people at the Sports Bar, all had drinks. Just three, no one ordering. There I am seated with money hanging from my hand. One Bartender (female) preferred talking and talking to one guy. Not saying she was flirting, and don't believe she was gaming for a tip, she just wasn't doing her job. (My suspicion is people aren't tipping and that hurts all of us.) This has happened before, same place. More than five minutes go by. Those drinks should have been shot into me intravenously so I would go back to one of those funky BJ tables. Somewhat aggravated, decided to give tables one last glance, but lost my will. (Should point out that the Cocktail Servers at the tables appeared to be doing a great job. Very attentive, big difference from Union Strip Workers.) If I go back soon, may have to amend, but for now, that's the story.
(Returned)
Good time. Good table servers. Attentive Dealers. (Please people, these guys/gals live off their tips, or didn't you cave dwellers know that?) Table was moving, making money until changed the Stickman to a Stickwoman who slowed the game down considerably, talking to dealers. She either is in training, talking about nothing it seemed, waiting for responses from blank faces, or was told to slow the game, which is part of the game, I suppose. Still, this is a nice place, not grimy, very clean, and the employees don't challenge you.
