  • This review is for the Smith's grocery store on Windmill and Eastern streets. I decided to write this review after I saw how another customer was treated and experiences I've had in the past. While shopping I saw a customer standing at the meat counter, there was an employee on the other side of the counter. The employee looked at her several times and said nothing, no "Hi, can I help you", didn't do crap. Apparently she had been standing there for a while because she finally walked into the back to ask for help. The employee who just stood there and made no attempt to help her was asked to help her by another employee. The first thing he said was "I didn't know you needed help, you should have asked me". A while back I was at the front of the store to be checked out along with a lady who was waiting. There were no cashiers up front but there was an employee standing off to the left, again saw us and said or did nothing. The woman eventually became angry and asked, loudly, can we get some help. The guy who was standing finally came over to ring us up. Most employees at this store have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They don't smile, they act like your bothering them, there rude, and they don't give a crap. The kicker for me was when the lady at the meat counter left, the 2 employees started to make fun of her and laugh, totally disgusting. I'm sure there union so they can't be fired no matter what which is why I will never shop at this store again. If the employees don't give a dam about the customers why should we shop there and contribute to their unearned salaries. Maybe if they lose enough customers they might be more customer oriented, but I doubt it. They'll just go to another store with the same crap attitude.
