  • I cannot say enough amazing and great things about this Salon! I have gone to many MANY salons (including ROLF's, Gadabout, and The Red Door Spa) and none have even come close to how wonderful Coiffeur's Salon is! Not only do they treat each customer like a life long friend, but they truly take the time to get to know what you want/need and what would work for you as a person, not just a client! The vibe in this place is so urban New York, it is truly one of a kind! Their prices are incredibly reasonable for the amount of service and quality of service you get! I have paid double the price at other "premier" salons, and honestly have always walked away unsatisfied. This sure did not happen to me at Coiffeur's!! My appointment took 4 hours and ran right up until the Salon closed. I never once felt rushed or that my stylist was itching to get out and go home. Now, more about the stylist I saw!! Allyson did my hair and if I could sing her praise off the top of a mountain for all to hear, I would!! Allyson was able to do a color correction and give me the true color I have been trying to get for 2 years (with many botched hair dye jobs!), RED! and it looks so natural!! She was so honest and kind! She kept me up to date on the cost of everything, including extra bowls of color, and how much that would be and if that was ok! I have never had such great honesty before! She also took the time to not just cut my hair one, but twice!! After the color, she cut and layered my hair, and then proceeded to really look at my hair from every angle and fluff it to see where more movement could be added. She then went back through, no joke, inch by inch and cut and thinned and layered all over again to add the most movement to my hair! I was so blown away by her commitment and passion that I literally did not have words! Now onto the owners! I have never experienced such friendliness before!! Both of them went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and most impressively...important! I was not just another head of hair with money, I was a real person to them! I HIGHLY recommend this place!! Go! You will not be disappointed!!!
