  • I wanted to write a quick update after another three months of membership at Women's Fitness. With any gym, the longer you go, the more likely you are to see or find things you don't like or to really appreciate how good of a gym you go to, and my experience has been the latter! I'm still working with my trainer Michelle and she's still amazing as ever. I really appreciate the fact that Carrie puts some thought into matching the trainer and the client. My other friend goes here and works with Jana and really likes her. I'm seeing results slowly but surely and I can definitely tell that I'm way fitter than I ever was before. This gym has only been really busy a few times I've been and that was mostly in January right after the gym membership boom. It's always busy before classes but it thins out quickly once the class is in session. Machines are always available and although I've found that the weights area can get crowded, most people are good about getting off the machine and cleaning it right away so someone else can use it. Women's Fitness is kept really clean and I always see someone going through and cleaning at least once in the hour that I'm there working out. My only complaints about this gym are the fact that since it's a women's gym, women like to stand around and natter on. I wouldn't normally care, but when they lean on machines and I have to ask them to move so I can use it, it gets annoying. It's also annoying when they stand around and block the pathways for people who are working out or trying to get in or out of the gym area. That being said, I think this is 100% unavoidable in an all-women's gym and it's just one of those things that comes with the territory. My only other complaint is that when classes are in session, a lot of women don't feel the need to put a lock on their locker. So I spend 10 minutes walking around looking for a locker that's free because every one that doesn't have a lock has someone's stuff in it. But that's up to the club to patrol so... All in, very pleased with my membership here - I won't be leaving this gym for quite a while!!
