| - I made an appointment for an Acrylic fill Saturday at 10am. I got speedy service, a great natural polish finish and was out of there in 45 minutes. Most places charge $15 for a fill, for some reason this location charged me $25 (which is the price of a NEW set at other nail salons in the area)
Sadly, one Acrylic nail broke down the centre just a few hours later without even hitting it or chipping it on anything (odd!), leaving my real nail fully intact with no issues. (even more odd!)
I called ahead on Sunday morning to notify the manager of what happened and to advise him that I would be coming in for a very quick repair. I waited, and waited, and was finally seen about 20 minutes later. just before the top coat was put on the girl slipped me a bill for $5 for a repair.
I do not mind paying for a repair job if I break the nail myself, but hitting it on something, biting it off, chipping it etc...however being charged for a repair that broke less than 2 hours after having them freshly done is completely unacceptable.
I sat quietly during drying, and upon leaving I walked up to the cash with $5 in hand and explained to him that I do not have a problem paying the $5 however this is bad costumer service.
After some bickering back and forth he said fine that's ok, just leave...so I did.
I have come to this location a handful of times and have always been pleased with their service so I was very surprised that he would even try to charge me for the repair job.
