  • Indoor: 0 Stars; Outdoor: ? Stars The worst music venue for your favourite artist to play a show at... I would award the inside no stars and note that we are all now stupider for having had to experience that venue... Its under staffed, under ventilated, and awful to try and get a view of the stage. Even if you are tall and can see above everyone's head, if you are in the main stage room, then you have to deal with the thick humid sweat filled air because there is a definite lack of ventilation. It probably doesn't meet building code. We ended up standing just outside the main room, with a partial view of the stage and views of live television screens. The only reason I returned was because they somehow managed to book concerts for a few of my favourite artists this past year: John Mayer and Ben Harper... but I hope they never go back because I probably won't now! I even decided against seeing a few shows I really wanted to see because they were playing at the Sound Academy... the new Sublime band for example. For a winter show of Bedouin Soundclash, I missed the opening band which I had actually come to see (Slightly Stoopid) just waiting for 45 minutes in the freezing cold in an unnecessarily huge line to get into the venue. Then, once we were in, because it was an all ages event, I had to wait in line to get into the sectioned off area to get a drink. Then, I had to wait 25 minutes for that drink because they only had one bartender. And when we turned around and the headline show started, we couldn't see a thing because the stage was completely obstructed from the beer area... so we had to quickly finish our drinks to see the show. As a summer hangout on the outdoor back patio, it looks like it would be pretty cool. During the summer for the Ben Harper show, we did have a drink on the patio while waiting for the show to start... during which their low-quality speakers actually stopped working so we couldn't hear the opening band that was playing inside while on the patio... but the waterfront view was nice- On their outdoor patio, there is a place to get vendor type food and they also have pool tables, fooseball and a swimming pool... but I haven't been for a summer's day... just so many bad feelings about this place!
