| - If you take the time to read the reviews of this complex, I highly recommend you look into other living arrangements. The Gramercy has little to no security and little management to tend to important issues. For example, the garage rarely works and will not open when you approach with a sensor. I had to repeatedly drive to the management office to ask for the gate to be manually opened, which made the process 15 minutes longer than ever necessary if the gate was replaced/fixed. Several months into my stay, our assigned parking spots in the garage were taken away, making parking a free-for-all.
In addition, I had consistent problems with neighbors across the hall, who would slam doors until 3 am. I would call the office and security downstairs almost every week, but never once was the situation actually addressed or solved. Instead, I had to wait it out until the neighbors moved for whatever reason. On top of poor management, Gramercy is over-priced. From the outside it may seem like the commodities and arrangements make the price worth it, but, trust me, this is not true.
