  • I've been to the Wandering Tortoise twice this week, and dare I say this might be me and my friends' new bar? First off, parking can be found next door anytime after 4:30, don't be deceived by the tiny lot in front of the bar, there's plenty next door. The bar is the only one that has all the Phoenix breweries on tap in one place, no other place in Phoenix has this. With that said, yes, your hopes for finding great craft beer are right here. And yesterday they even had a ton of Pizza Port beers on tap, too. You're able to choose between 4 oz, 6 oz, and 8 oz glasses, which is perfect for sampling or happy hour. Their happy hour is pretty sweet, too. I tried the most amazing beer yesterday and the next day it was gone, so they're always in rotation. I tried the "Hatch Chile Gatos" and "Oh My Gatos" that was so good. I could actually taste the heat, it was the perfect amount of spice. They have a retail section in the back so pick up some brews to go. This place is the best cozy neighborhood bar, so excited it's close to home.
