| - I've passed by their storefront on numerous occasions since their "grand opening", by which the store came under new management and was throughly renovated. Daisy Nails used to be called Scissorhand Nails. I've been meaning to try this place out and finally went in for a Shellac manicure, pedicure and eyebrow waxing.
As I didn't make an appointment, I was worried as to whether or not I would have to wait for a long time. But I wasn't made to wait for a lengthy duration of time. Their interior is quite typical for an Asian establishment, but it was also much cleaner, comfortable and easy on the eyes. I think their interior is quite plain, but of course that's merely personal taste. Some staff speak English, whilst others don't do so with a high degree of fluency; it just depends on who you get. Their prices are very good, cheap even, considering the quality of service. I think prices are more than reasonable, given how well my nails were done and I think prices are competitive in that they are akin to those at nearby salons. Their selection of nail varnishes is decent, but as they're new, are not the biggest. However, I did notice that they have the newest OPI collections.
Prices for Shellac manicures and pedicures were less than what I was paying for previously and was much better applied. And my eyebrows have never been waxed this well before; I received TONS of compliments on them. I would highly recommend this place for Shellac and waxing.
The location is convenient as well, what with a hair salon, Shoppers Drug Mart and various restaurants and food establishments being a few steps aways.
