My aunt was transferred here after leg amputation. I refused to let her go to Southern Nevada Rehab because they're the reason her leg had to be amputated (along with a myriad of other medical faux pas with Las Vegas health care). At any rate, first day there, found her on the floor, naked, in her feces. I screamed for help which came immediately. Of course, nurses and administration tried to down play the incident but my aunt without her leg laying on the floor, crying for help, is forever ingrained in my mind. I had to hire a bed side attendant so it wouldn't happen again. There is no communication at this place and total disrespect for the patients' family. They wouldn't supply diapers for my aunt or Glucerna, telling her bed side attendant he could clean up after her and feed her since that is why the family hired him. I signed admission papers two weeks after my aunt was admitted and I'm still waiting for discharge papers even though my aunt has been home for four days.
Good luck if your forced to place a loved one here. They'll never make it without a caretaker.
