I only recommend century link to people I do NOT like, as for everyone else I tell them the truth and to stay away and don't waste your time getting this internet service. Century link has probably the WORST POSSIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I have experienced. I recently cancelled my service and paid the $400 cancellation fee as this was less painful than to actually be a customer. To cancel my service it took me around 5 phone transfers from department to department. Then I had a conversation with a guy with a heavy accent for over 30 minutes because he refused to let me speak to his supervisor / manager and stated that he does not have to transfer me to anyone and I can only speak to him. I asked for his name but he would not disclose and acted like he lost reception but would not hang up the phone and just started playing games as is he was 12. The total call log time was over 45 minutes. After, I receive my final payment and paid my final bill $400 for internet service they also provided return label to ship the items back. However I am still being charged my monthly bill still for services that has already been cancelled. I tried calling them to dispute this reoccurring charge that should have already been cancelled since i no longer have service or any business with them but they started transferring me back and forth within departments again. And its really annoying to provided your name, address, phone number, account number and the reason for calling EVERY SINGLE TIME i'm transferred. Isn't this called stealing or theft when they take money out of your account even though you no longer have any business with them? Ever since my experience with Century Link, I only recommend centurylink to people I DON'T LIKE, but for the rest of the people I tell them to stay away from this company, why would you associate yourself with a company like this one. I give them a BIG two thumbs up FOR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.
