  • Mastro's is definitely one of the best places for a nice night out or for a celebration dinner in Scottsdale. The food is always good, and the service is great as well. The only downside is that even when you make reservations, I've previously had to wait up to 30 minutes for our table to be ready. I've enjoyed Ocean Club several times, but on 5/11/18, though the food was still good, it did not live up to the expectations I had from previous times eating there. Pictured are everything I ate/tried, the clear lobster roll, seared scallops, truffle crab gnocchi, truffle butter wild mushrooms, and the butter cake. The sauce under the sushi was amazing and spicy, and no complaints on the butter cake! However the scallops could have been seared more, and the mushrooms were so drenched in the butter that they became soggy (if you want mushrooms from here I prefer the roasted button mushrooms they are to die for!!). Overall it was still a good dining experience and I will definitely be back again.
