I was in the area and thirsty, so I decided to make a milk (tea) run! The shop is in the same plaza as an Asian grocery store and a Vietnamese restaurant. They offer a pretty good variety of milk tea, smoothies, iced fruity drinks and desserts such as mangonadas, and ice cream. I debated for a bit on what to get. Mangonada or Nutella milk tea? Ultimately my Nutella cravings won and I went with a 16 oz. with almond milk and honey boba.
The interior is light and cheery, with a door connecting Milk Run to the neighboring Vietnamese restaurant. I like how you can opt for either almond or soy milk as non dairy options for your milk tea, and the price was reasonable. My tea was ready in a few minutes, in a cup with a snap-on plastic lid rather than the special bubble tea drink sealer.
The taste was OK overall. I couldn't taste a lot of tea flavor but I did enjoy the ribbon of Nutella running through the drink. The inclusion of almond milk made it for a lighter tasting drink in creaminess and it wasn't super sugary which I appreciated. The honey boba was very soft and chewy.
Overall, an A-OK experience. 3.5/5
