  • I had an out-of-town engagement photo shoot this past Sunday. Not only was Blo Charlotte one of the only salons open on a Sunday in Charlotte but the receptionist was very accommodating in scheduling the appointment and modifying the time. I was able to email attachments of photos that achieved the look I wanted - a sexy side-swept pin-up with bouncy curls. When I walked into the salon with my fiance, I knew the place would treat me great - modern decor and a very cool vibe. To boot, they had printed out the photos I had attached. I wish I knew my hairstylist's name (she had hot pink short hair), maybe Tara? She was incredible. She was patient, a terrific listener, and very sweet. She had over 13 years of experience working with hair. She blow-dried my pre-washed hair with steam, used an iron to achieve the curls I wanted, and created the perfect look - all with her go-to products, brush, and bobby pins. I told the hairstylist I wished I could take her with me back to my hometown (Virginia) for my wedding day next summer. Such a bummer. Thank you for a wonderful and elegant finish on the look I wanted... would love to go back.
