I don't know if the store has improved in recent years but I was astounded in the sheer variety of the animals. They had a very large variety of tarantulas and young snakes. The amount of various lizards they had is the largest I have seen so far. And the hatchling torts I had seen (sulcata and leopard) were eating a good diet and didn't have any noticeable pyramiding. They had one large sulcata that was mostly smooth as well. And some of the cages they had seed growing in it which puzzled me but it was nice. The cages were for the most part clean though some had empty water dishes and the Chinese water dragon had just shed in his water. Surprisingly enough the CWD looked healthy, it's rare that I see healthy ones in stores.
The only reason I marked down one star is that the monitor they have needs a much bigger enclosure. He looked fine if a little chubby which is probably from lack of exercise.
Overall the animals I saw looked very healthy and the cages were decent.
The one guy who I think may be the owner or at least a manager was very nice and offered to find me a snake that I wanted as he didn't have it in stock.
