  • I only went here because of the cheesy commercial they play on the radio about selling jewelry. I just wanted to get something appraised that I was considering getting rid of. I wandered the mall because apparently the only person working at the time that was able to do appraisals was helping a couple pick out an engagement ring. The woman at the counter telling me all this was very pleasant. The appraiser jeweler,( if you can even legitimately call her that)... was able to stop briefly and look at a diamond pendant I had. I had no idea what the details were because it's old and I got it as a gift. I told her I thought it was white gold and she basically brushed me off and said "definitely not." She first didn't even take it out of the box then she did to get a closer look. She said the quality wasn't that good and the diamonds were cloudy, the weight was too light. She handed it back to me and told me she couldn't sell it for me. There is so much wrong with this interaction alone. For starters she seemed like she couldn't he bothered to look at my measly diamond pendant when she had a sale to make. Second she didn't even ask if it was cleaned, or bother to shine it prior to looking at it to get a solid read on the diamonds. Third I never said I was asking you to sell my jewelry. If that wasn't rude enough she turned to the other sales woman and told her to tell me about some website. Meanwhile I was still sitting there and she could have very well told me herself, but for some reason I wasn't worth anymore of her time so she couldn't speak with me directly? I have dealt with my fair share of jewelers, privately owned and other in New York, where we take jewelry very seriously. I have to say this is the worst customer service I've seen from someone in this business. I only gave the 2 stars because of how nice and informative the first woman was I dealt with. This business very much seems like they rely on cheesy amateur sales people to lure tourists into buying over priced mediocre jewelry.
