I go to the movies on average of twice a week as long as the release of new movies can keep up. I pay for the AMC Premier Membership so I can skip the lines and receive some reward for the money I spend. AMC membership is worth the $20 if you go to the movies frequently.
Unfortunately, I have to say over the past couple months this theater has been progressively declining in cleanliness, and customer service. The bathrooms are filthy and the seating is starting to follow suit. The staff is mostly a younger generation and I understand they may not completely understand the importance of customer service, but they do not offer the basics.
The manager of the theater needs to setup a training program that teaches staff to say things like "Hello", "Thank you" and maybe make eye contact. Today I wanted to see if I did not engage the staff with polite basic interaction if they would offer to me. The box office, ticket collector, and concession stand all stayed quiet. They only words spoken were from me to communicate the movie request and a number 1 from concessions.
Perhaps AMC and the theater manager does not care, perhaps that is why they do not respond to the poor yelp reviews they receive. And perhaps it's time for me to find a new movie theater.
Anyway, I hope a change is made soon
