  • I have attended several events at this venue & have enjoyed everyone of them except this last event, the LV Soul Festival, this past weekend. We arrived at 8:15pm (event started at 8pm), so we were a bit late arriving. We were directed to a side entrance which had a line with over a hundred people or more, waiting to get through metal detectors. The line was outside on the street, and it took 45 minutes to get through the line. Once we got inside, it was clear that the event was sold out, completely packed, and the event was too large for the venue space. Seating was tight & uncomfortable with little to no room to move. We were disappointed with this entire event. In addition, it seemed that the Orleans Arena staff didn't consider the need for parking for this event as there was little to no parking due to the upcoming rodeo events that were scheduled this week. The parking lot was full of trucks with trailers, leaving unstructured parking for attendees of this event. Very very disappointed with the Orleans Arena on this one!
