| - Las Vegas Boat Harbor is a fine place to rent a boat. Just don't expect much more than that. As some other reviews stated, all the women that work there are very grouchy. They are not quite "rude" or "mean," but they definitely are not "nice." I understand that there are rules, and they need to be sure that people are responsible. However, for those of us who are responsible on the water, it wouldn't hurt them to be a bit nicer, answer questions, and be flexible.
We rented a 10 person pontoon boat for a few hours while at the Lake. It was the perfect amount of time to cruise around the lake, stop to go swimming, and listen to music on the boat. We had a great time going swimming, but I think I should have been more careful to not drink the water. I somehow got a stomach flu later that night and spent the evening vomiting. We even had to miss out dinner at L'atlier :-(. That is not fault of Las Vegas Boat Harbor though...
I would recommend getting there early since you can't "reserve" a boat. They are first come first serve, and again, not very friendly. I don't think that there are many other options, as this place seems to have the market cornered.
