Everyone in the US has been to the Gap, right? Well in Canadia, their version of The Gap is Roots.
Quite honestly, I actually prefer Roots over The Gap. Then again, I'm probably biased because my friend was a district manager for the Gap in the UK and she would go on and on about the shabby quality of the clothing at The Gap. But even if she didn't tell me all that, I would still prefer Roots.
This is the location at the Eaton Centre (and I'm glad that they spell it "Centre" because I prefer using "re" instead of "er" at the end of the word but that's another story). Since this is at the Eaton Centre, it can get quite crowded. As a result, the store could get chaotic and a bit disorganized because customers would pick up clothing from one section, decide they don't want it and leave it somewhere else. Damn Americans!
But the employees were always nice and very helpful, and not in that "Can I help you" mode where they have to ask you every 10 seconds.
