  • Nordstrom basement clearance store is just that; a bargain basement clearance store. I remember when it first opened at Maryvale Mall on the westside of Phoenix and hardly anyone shopped there, so it's interesting to see what it is today. I've found some great deals throughout the years, but I have to be in the mood to deal with the craziness to shop there. For some reason, people leave their manners at the door as soon as they walk into the store. It's a lot better than it use to be though. You can expect to find items that are in very used condition - sometimes having a missing piece, torn, or scratched. However, on rare occasions you may come across an item in good new condition. It can be time consuming rummaging and examining items for defects.
