  • Wow- the number of stars this place has are way off. Must be the competition down-rating or something. If you take into account some of the low reviews...I think some of it could fall back upon the reviewer for maybe A) eating mac/cheese at a sushi joint, B) not asking the person on the phone to review your to-go order, C) Sorry, not sorry... Seriously. Stop doing whatever it is you are doing. Change your dinner plans...stat! This place is AMAZING. I went about a week ago with a large group and we sat at the community table in the middle. We tried a little bit of a lot of things and I was not disappointed in one single thing. I think we tried the Philly Cheesesteak, Chicken and Waffles, Chuck Norris, Dam Jumper, Double D, Tail-er Swift, Tropic Thunder at a minimum for the rolls and some shrimp tempura along with a salmon plate that had a wasabi oil and a dab of wasabi on top. I loved every single item but I think the Dam Jumper and the salmon plates were my favorite. I have seriously told at least 10 people this week how amazing this place is because I can't stop thinking about it. I don't even live that close but my husband and I agreed that we don't care to go anywhere else for sushi anymore and will make the drive to go to this place. The salmon on the salmon plate melted in my mouth like butter because the fish was so incredibly perfect and fresh. I didn't try any of their martinis except for a small sip of the one my friend was having (I think it was strawberry or raspberry). It was very tasty and would have gone down too easily several times. Therefore, I stuck with beer, ha! If you like good sushi, you have to try this place out. It is seriously delicious. I really, honestly don't understand how you could not give this place 5 stars unless you went to a sushi place for some reason and don't eat sushi. Even then, they have some items without fish such as the chicken and waffle roll and Philly cheesesteak roll I mentioned above, which are delicious! Ambiance was great and so was the service. He automatically put us on our own tab rather than combining us all into one large group. Super thoughtful and convenient. We will be repeat customers and make the 25-minute trek or so to eat here.
