Ok ok....it's a market, its got lots of stuff, some of it is interesting...but most of it you just look and don't buy.
Sat AM's in the farmer's market in the North Building is pretty sweet and if you show up late (4PMish) you can negotiate some half-off prices on the daily baked goods....yum.
The fruit and butcher shops in the South building are over-priced but it's all one-stop shopping for the "too busy" Torontoninan worker. The famed back bacon sandwiches aren't anything special and mostly a tourist draw. Try Chinatown for fresher and cheaper produce. Foodies can find better cheeses and meats around town if they know where to look.
