  • What happened? It seems like this place is starting toward the slow spiral into nothingness. Did they have a change of staff and creativity in the kitchen? The last few times the food has been nothing more than average. A little worse every visit. The ole' favorite black bean burger tasted like a pre-made frozen mess. Did they change vendors? Schwan's could do better. The scrumptous grilled cheese sandwich turned into two stale barely grilled pieces of bread with cheese. I don't know what else to say. I think Stax might have lost its place in our restaurant rotation.
