  • Let's start with atmosphere: This place is an absolute throw back. Everyone knows each other, and everyone has a common bond, they get their balls busted by the owner. Jeannie (not sure if this is how she spells is) is a character, and no one is immune to her jabs. She will swear at you, but she doesn't mean anything by it - trust me you will know if she is pissed at you - that is just how she is. The Food: Best breakfast overall that I have had in Pittsburgh, from a two eggs, etc. and breakfast sandwich standpoint. Oh and the omelettes are fricking amazing, HUGE! You get plenty of food at a solid price. If you are a coffee snob stay away, well actually, if you are any type of pretentious, snobbish asshole, don't come in here, you will probably leave crying. Best place in town for breakfast, a place that understand that the whole world doesn't need to change in order for it to be enjoyable. One more point: If you ever get to try any of Jeannie's Italian food, you will be in for a treat. Anyone who thinks that Bloomfield has good Italian food is a complete idiot who doesn't know Italian food, that is of course unless Jeannie has cooked for them.
