  • Normally, I don't spend too much time in Neonopolis, but was down here for a festival I took the wife to. On short notice, I needed a glass mouthpiece for my pen, and even had it with me - what could go wrong? They could surely fit what I needed to the pen if worse came to worse, but having an extremely common heating element and battery pen, I figured it'd be fine. I took a gander at some of the other vaporizers they had in stock, as I was looking for other options based on my particular needs. I was shown a particular product, and was given a pretty hard sell. I was quoted $110 - being VERY new to vaping (we're talking less than 6 months - but I'm damn confident in the semblance I have within that period, mind you.) I had no idea if that was even worth it, and not being really interested in an immediate "impulse buy" (for me, anyway - I research anything pratically everything. ..) I passed. But we'll circle back to that. Soooo .... the mouthpiece. It ... looked like it fit. I brought in a universal type pen, as I mentioned - in fact, the guy looked at it and shrugged off the opportunity to take it from me because he was seemingly so sure of the product he had. I'm pretty sure that's just because it was the only one that may have fit - yes, the aforementioned mostly UNIVERSAL fit pen - that they had in stock. I only realized this after I got home. Not only was I given a globe that was a really tight fit - even with it's own included parts - but one that cracked maybe two uses in, after trying to carefully pull it off of the rubber rings that secure it. An overpriced $30 and less than 48 hours later, I've got a super-glued globe that I'm frightened to use. I don't have the reciept, partly based on the level of newbie-based trust I had in EVapor8; partly on being an idiot. Lesson learned, I guess. It's still really ridiculous - and will keep me from going ever again, or recommending them - at least for equipment, as I can't speak on juices. Circling back to the vaporizer I was given a hard sell on? Pretty easy to find it for $50 within the first few search results online. Ultimately, this all speaks of incredibly high rent costs in Downtown Neonopolis/FMSE area, but sacrificing quality and gouging people isn't the way to go about making up for it. I wouldn't be shocked to see them go the way of many memories of businesses past - oh how I miss cosmic bowling at the top of Neonopolis. I may not miss the glorified mall vape kiosk, though. Locals - STAY AWAY, especially with so many options. Tourists - proceed at your own risk - and hopefully your wallet as well.
