  • Best beer store and service in Charlotte HANDS DOWN. Mike and his mom are friendly and helpful. Go into the store, introduce yourself--they will treat you like family. Amazing selection of local beers from NC yet the toughest to find Belgians. All kinds of stuff in the keg. People say the wine selection is great but I never seem to get past the beer. Not sure where the one star reviewers get off on criticizing how Mike takes care of his customers. These "cherry pickers" never darken his door then try to get "their share" of perhaps something the store may get one case of. I am impressed he told them why. He could have just lied and told them he didn't have any. The one lady referred to another place in town--why didn't they sell it to her there? Skip the megastores and grocery stores--there is a reason Brawley's was the kickoff of Craft Beer week--the place IS craft beer.
