  • Stay away! I told the agent when I picked up the car that I did not want the additional coverage but ended up being charged for it anyway. I believe they use confusing wording on the on-screen agreement, something with the "waiver" (which is what they call the additional coverage) appearing as waiving your right to have additional coverage. Having just gotten off a long flight and struggling with my luggage, I didn't have my original on-line pricing handy and didn't realize until it was too late I had been overcharged. When I returned, the manager refused to show me the on-screen agreement. I've rented several cars this year and never had a problem until Budget. As I'm in Vegas several times a year (this was my third trip this year), I will never use Budget again, they are a rip-off.
