I had a great dinner last night at Sienna Sulla with a colleague while visiting my company's Pittsburgh office. I had the Caprese (tomato mozzarella) salad to start which was fresh and delicious. For my entree, I really enjoyed the grilled swordfish which was poached in olive oil and served atop rounds of fried zucchini and succulent oven roasted tomatoes. My dining companion's tomato risotto was an outstanding melange of creamy Arborio rice studded with sundried tomatoes and basil.
The decor at Sienna Sulla was a cozy mix of exposed brick walls, swirly glazed glass tabletops and low lighting, all of which made for a pleasant dinner ambiance. There were a few tables outside but the interior seemed more inviting so we sat inside by the large bay window looking towards Market Square. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly but not intrusive. I would happily return to Sienna Sulla when I'm back in Pittsburgh!
