  • From a lodging standpoint, this is good. Very clean--- I wipe down all hotel bathrooms with a Clorox wipe, usually I find something (a hair, dust, etc.). Here I found nothing. The rooms aren't that updated but to a seasoned traveler this does not matter--- what matters is that the room is clean and comfortable. However the five stars is for the staff. We stayed here over a whole weekend and had a few special requests and accomodations due to family. The staff went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome. We made 3-4 requests, all were met and we couldn't have been more satisfied. Great job Courtyard in Matthews! For under $100/night on the weekend you could not do any better.
