HOLIDAY - 4 stars
They don't seem as full as other restaurants in New Year's Eve. Wait and price wasn't as bad. Hostess wasn't as nice, and got seated by the door inside. Since we're inside and by the door, every time somebody opens the door, you get really cold. A few tables opened up. I went to the hostesses inside, and they ignored me for a good 3 minutes because they were busy gossiping. After I finally got their attention, they said they can't transfer me to another table once I'm already seated. Even though I was annoyed by the impoliteness of the hostesses inside and outside, I tried to go on with my dinner.
Our server (White male) was nice, and gave some recommendations on how to eat our meal. Another server (Asian male) was also nice enough to talk to us and gave recommendations. The food is off the New Year's Eve menu so it is not regularly served there. Their bacon gruyere Mac cheese sticks is awesome, but the onion rings with it is sub par. I had the seafood risotto, which was excellent; I was bummed I didn't finish it because I was too full. My boyfriend's prime rib was juicy and tender. We were too full for sundae so we got the molten chocolate cake, which was delicious. Boyfriend and I were both happy. NYE meal came up to $100 excluding tip.
REGULAR DAY - 1 star
I went here again because I was bummed that I was too full to try their famous Can't Say No Sundae, which is not available in their take-out section. I made reservations via OpenTable/Yelp. I got there on time, and I was told to wait. The hostess was impolite and dressed like she's going to workout. I am surprised because that's the first time I was asked to wait when I have a reservation. After 10 minutes of waiting, she had me sit outside. I thought I would get priority of getting seated inside since I made a reservation. I also thought their heater is on since it's getting cold already but it wasn't on. The server was ok, but I didn't like how the server and the hostess fought in front of us because the hostess is having a big party sit in a table the hostess is not done fixing yet. I thought the table is clean; it just needs utensils. Why don't the hostess get it since all she does is stand and look like a snob dressed in sweats anyway. The server was not also being professional in sort of shouting at the hostess. She should've pulled her aside, and talked to her; not announce to all the customers that they're a mess. Ok, so service is bad on regular days. Got it.
So the food finally came after waiting too long. The CRAB ARTICHOKE DIP is not good; I forced myself to eat it since I'm hungry and we paid $13 for it. My boyfriend's LAS VEGAS PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SANDWICH ($22) was delicious; hence, my 1 star. Then after a while, we had the CAN'T SAY NO SUNDAE. It's not as awesome as the hype goes. It tastes like regular drugstore sundae. The cake in it was not as good; tastes like cake you'd get in the grocery store. The ice cream itself is just regular ice cream. I would've been better off getting gelato. I was disappointed.
Even if I live in Vegas, I won't go out of my way now just to eat here, considering there's a ton of places to eat here.
My recommendation: DO NOT EAT INSIDE the restaurant, unless they have a holiday menu. JUST GO TO THEIR TO-GO SECTION OUTSIDE. They also have sundaes there as well as their famous frozen hot chocolate. All the Yelp reviews are right; service is horrible.
