| - Hooter Casino Hotel is a great place to go if you are in a budget. The prices are cheap and affordable. My boyfriend and I stayed there for three nights for about $130 (including resort fees and taxes).
Excellent
In my opinion, I thought the bed and pillows were comfy. I did not have any problems. The pool was cool. The provided their own towels and they have plenty of lounges. However, the pool with the waterfall was too cold. Also, $1.50 Bud Light! Now, that is cheap!
Good
The location is all right. It is across the street from Excalibur and MGM. M&M's World and the Coca-Cola Store was less than ten-minute walk away. The hotel has a gym. The gym is small, but they provide necessary equipment for you to stay fit--treadmill, stationary bicycle, elliptical, free weights, a core ball, and other weight equipment I am unfamiliar with. The cardio machines, in my opinion, seem to be rather new. The treadmill has televisions included but they only have SportsCenter, ESPN, and infomercials. Also, they have water and towels inside.
Bad
Our room had a door connecting to the other room next door. I never seen that before or had that in a hotel stay. I was curious and opened it. Luckily, no one noticed I opened the door. The parking garage is small. You have to turn right on to Duke Ellington Road and make another right to the parking area. If you turn an immediate right to the front entrance of Hooters on Tropicana Avenue, it is actually an exit. The exit sign is hidden behind palm trees and other shrubs. It can be confusing at first.
