| - Went in this evening to try the Grand Mac. Maybe 4 customers inside, no wait at the counter. Ordered for "here," and my number was called before I could fill my drink at the fountain.
Sat down to eat, and was shocked to find my burger was cold. Not lukewarm, C-O-L-D as if it had just been taken out of a refrigerator.
Went back to the counter and called a manager over, told her my issue. She picked up the box/carton and said, yes, I can feel the box is cold. Another worker stepped up and said oh, it's probably the cheese. I said no, it's not the cheese. The sandwich is chilled. The manager told her "the box is even cold, here feel it."
I watched as she went over to the cooks and they spoke, I didn't catch what they said until the manager said "It's not funny, do not do it again," and the young man laughed and said "I'll just blame it on y'all!"
There was some apparent tension and some smirking and laughing from the kitchen area, and I decided this was a bad idea and requested a refund. The manager apologized as she refunded only the sandwich, not the drink. Ok, guess I could still drink the soda but it seemed kinda petty under the circumstances.
I asked her, "How could this happen?" She said "what do you mean?" I said how can you serve me a cooked burger that is cold like the whole thing, bun and all, has just come out of the fridge? She said yeah, right? I don't know. And that was that.
I don't plan to go back to this McD's again.
