  • Wednesday, 1/2 off sushi day! Arrived at 6:30 pm. Tables were all taken, but we were able to sit at the bar right away. It was actually cool to see the chefs make the sushi right in front of us. We got blue ribbon, rainbow, and yellow tail nigiri-sushi. Blue ribbon is something you expect from typical Japanese restaurants, though delicious. But rainbow and yellow tail nigiri-sushi! What made them special were the sashimis on top of the rice. These are kept really cold, soft, fresh, and THICK. By far the thickest sashimis I've seen on the sushi. Just a wonderful experience. And I only paid $20 for the dinner! Amazing.
