Located just behind the Manulife Centre, this is my go-to restaurant if I want to grab a quick dinner before a movie at Varsity. The service is quick and the prices are super reasonable.
If you haven't had okonomiyaki before, it's savoury and similar to a pancake, except that it's filled with cabbage and protein and anything else you like. It can get a bit greasy and is by no means fancy, but it's very filling. I usually get pork or seafood and veggies, along with a generous helping of bonito and seaweed flakes for 50 cents. (Total bargain!)
Even though I have made okonomiyaki at home before, it's a real treat to come here and have one made-to-order and served up on a little skillet.
